| In my book review of Shadow Government, I felt inspired to allow this book by Grant Jeffrey to write most of the review itself. First, by borrowing the below quoted (*****) summary from Shadow Government. Second, I felt inspired to include a few verses of scripture with some commentaries for each, for those unfamiliar with related end-times prophecies. Third, by allowing the very Chapter-Titles & Sub-Titles of Shadow Government to point out to mankind, mankind's very own current events right before his face this very day. The fourth is a scriptural warning to heed hard. |
First: ***** "Shadow Government is an exploration of the growing threats to our privacy and freedom from the relentless development of surveillance technologies and the willingness of governments to exercise that power against their own citizens as well as foreign nationals. This book explores how these globalist trends and phenomenal technological surveillance capabilities are setting the stage for the rise of the Antichrist (The Beast)—the global dictator prophesied by the Holy Bible. The Antichrist (The Beast) will arise in our generation.
Second: "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six." (Revelation 13:16-18)
Commentary for those unfamiliar: HE (The False Prophet), who causes all, the He is a 'pronoun'. Meaning, we are talking a single Soul/Person here, the False Prophet. Scripture defines the "ALL" that He 'causes' by social-classes as being both: Small & Great; Rich & Poor; Free & Enslaved. Meaning, He who causes "ALL", means He will cause every single soul/person alive at the time of when the historical fulfillment of this end-times Biblical Prophecy {Revelation 13:16-18} arrives to fulfill to be subject/enslaved to receiving this Mark of the Beast (Antichrist), or they could not participate in society at-all(.) In layman's terms, the end-times "false prophet" makes mandatory this 'mark of the beast' not only in honor of his end-times evil friend the antichrist himself, but to cause all to worship his evil friend the antichrist as god, and to obey his 'satanic' system.
Logically, this will be a time of a total 'cashless' society (Sound Familiar Already?). For if cash were involved here in this end-times prophecy, what merchant 'would care' if one had this coming 'Mark of the beast' (of the antichrist), or the number of his name if a consumer were waving a wad of cash in the merchants face? Logically, only a society of increased technology could pull off the monitoring of "ALL" who can buy, or ALL who could sell. Logically, our current Generation is the only generation since creatiion with such technology where this end-times prophecy of Revelation 13:16-18 could literally fulfill.

Lastly, I've been inspired to include the below scripture Revelation 14:9-11.
Fourth: "Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." (Revelation 14:9-11)
Commentary: Clearly Revelation 14:9-1 is not open to negotiation and therefore be forewarned of its literal warning.
I must say Shadow Government was an enjoyable read that moves the reader forward with plenty of evidence; historical & factual notes; and plenty of 'end-times scripture references' within this Book of Shadow Government by Grant Jeffrey so his readers could look in the Holy Bible to see for themselves, that the end-times (end of the age) is in fact very nigh. I'd further like to add that other Senior Theologians have referred to Shadow Government in regards to such end-times prophecies in regards, and therefore such a Book as Shadow Government would serve both the novice and Student of Bible Prophecy as well.
In closing, if you noted in Revelation 13:16-18, and Revelation 14:9-11 above, this Mark of the Beast goes "ON" the right hand, or forehead, Not In (as in under the skin). Therefore, a Microchip implant doesn't fit the Mark of The Beast description, but the electronic tattoo they're working on that is placed "ON" the skin, does.
